Kara began her dancing career at the early age of 5. She studied under Linda Twedell for 21 years in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pointe, and lyrical. At the age of 14, Kara started assisting in classes and 3 years later landed a lead instructor position. Teaching dance is Kara’s passion, and to compliment her dance background has a degree in elementary/special education from Oklahoma State University. Kara is also a PBT ballet certified instructor. Attending workshops and classes each year is something Kara and her staff continue to participate in each year to stay current and gain new ideas. That’s Dancing! The studio was founded by Kara in 2003.

Micah began her dance training at the age of 5 with Mary Alice Stallcup in Enid, Oklahoma. She has studied under several instructors thoughout the years with a focus on tap, jazz, lyrical, choreography, and pom. She extensively trained in ballet and pointe under the instruction of Matthew and Sandra Bridwell of the Dance and Performing Arts Academy of Tulsa. After high school, Micah attended the University of Central Oklahoma majoring in Fine Arts. Micah has taught at That’s Dancing since 2009. She currently teaches all ages and choreographs and conducts That’s Dancing Company. As a choreographer, Micah’s work has been recognized at numerous competitions and conventions. Micah’s love for dance has continued by attending conventions and classes to keep growing as a teacher. Micah is excited to share her passion of dance with all her students.
Carrie began dancing at the age of 5. She studied for 13 years in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and hip hop. Carrie attended the University of Oklahoma where she continued her studies in dance. She has performed in Discoveryland’s “Oklahoma” and “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” as a dancer and earned a leadership position as Dance Captain. For the past 25 years, she has taught ballet, tap, and jazz to all ages. She is a member of Dance Masters and a PBT Ballet certified instructor. Carrie is married and has three daughters.

Erin started dancing at the age of 3. At a young age, she began competing and student teaching for That’s Dancing. After graduating from Bishop Kelley High school, she attended OSU in Stillwater, OK. There she taught for a local dance studio and studied different types of dance. While she was there she also choreographed and participated in many different Greek shows, including Freshman Follies, Varsity Revue, and Spring Sing. After graduating, Erin moved back to Tulsa. She annually attends dance conventions and classes to keep current as a dancer and instructor. Erin now enjoys spending time with her loved ones and she’s excited to teach your kiddos all that she has learned throughout the years.

Bailey started her dance training at the age of 3. At the age of 11, she started dancing at That’s Dancing!, where she competed and took classes in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and technique. Bailey also extensively trained in musical theatre dance and performance for her whole dance career, participating in numerous shows, workshops and camps. Bailey graduated from the University of Tulsa in May of 2017 with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Dance and works for a local accounting firm. For the past 8 years, Bailey has taught Ballet, Tap, Jazz/Hip Hop and Musical Theatre to all ages. She currently conducts That’s Dancing’s Showcase Troupe and assists with choreographing for That’s Dancing’s company.
